Cowley College president Dr. Dennis C. Rittle shared his thoughts on the “State of Cowley College” during the Arkansas City and Winfield Chamber Lunch Bites held via Zoom teleconferencing Thursday, September 3.
The Chambers teamed up for the event, with Sarah Werner, Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce CEO, emceeing the event.
“We appreciate Dr. Rittle’s willingness to take time to share what is happening at Cowley College at the Chamber’s Lunch Bites each year,” Werner said.
“This year’s event on Zoom looked a little different than our in-person luncheons, but the information was still as valuable as ever.”
Dr. Rittle went over a number of topics, including enrollment numbers at each of Cowley College’s campuses. He also discussed the CATS (Community Appreciation Tuition Scholarship) initiative and the College’s impact in the community.
Dr. Rittle ended his discussion by going over recent, ongoing, and future projects.
“Thank You to Our Courageous employees and our vigilant students. The amount of self-discipline and self-sacrifice has been both humbling and inspirational,” Dr. Rittle said.
Following his presentation, Dr. Rittle answered questions about the college from those attending the Zoom session.
