Cowley hosts another successful Superintendent, Principal and Counselor Day

September 20, 2019

Superintendents, Principals, and Counselors from Kansas and Oklahoma took part in another successful Superintendents, Principals, and Counselors Day event Thursday at Cowley College’s main campus in Arkansas City.

Individuals from Pioneer Tech, and Caddo Kiowa were on hand from Oklahoma, while Kansas schools had representation from Winfield, Dexter, South Haven, Burden and Cedar Vale.

Each year Cowley College admission recruiters recognize the achievements and success of area Tech schools and high schools. Those in attendance on Thursday had the opportunity to visit Cowley’s department fair and hear a motivational presentation from Cowley College executive director of enrollment management Kristi Shaw.

Shaw’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of people- by helping them cultivate and maximize their strengths and talents to their full potential.

Admissions representative Brandon Burke helped organize the event.

“I always look forward to Superintendents, Principals, and Counselors Day and having the opportunity to visit and update our principals and counselors on the exciting things happening at Cowley College,” Burke said. “Our Principals and Counselors our able to voice their opinions and be the voice of our future students. We always look forward to next year.”
