Volleyball reflects on national runner-up finish

The Cowley College volleyball team had high hopes for the 2021 campaign after a tough 2020 shortened Covid season. The program was returning several prominent players and bringing in key freshmen for a competitive season in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC). In the 2021 campaign, the team posted their 42nd twenty plus win season and their 21st straight winning season, continuing their streak of successful seasons. The Lady Tigers finished the season 41-1 while going 10-0 in conference matches. The team also finished NJCAA National Championship Runner-up, won the Plains A District Championship, won the KJCCC DII Conference Championship, posted a 41 match winning streak, was No. 1 nationally ranked, and received a No. 1 seed in the NJCAA National Tournament. read more

Tiger wrestlers take down Midland before falling to Hastings

Two days after competing at the Lindenwood Open in St. Charles, MO, the No. 8-ranked Cowley College wrestling team returned to the mat to take down Midland University (NE) 24-18 Monday night in Fremont, NE. However, later on Monday, Cowley would suffer its first dual loss of the season as they were shorthanded in a 41-15 defeat to Hastings College (NE). read more
