Cowley alumnus doing big things with her art work

Alyssa (Campbell) Bradley, a 2011 graduate of Cowley College, is another success story from the school as she is starting to accomplish many things in the art world. Bradley attended Clearwater High School before coming to Cowley College on a Creative Writing Scholarship. At Cowley she began as a business major before switching her major to art. read more

The No. 2-ranked Cowley College volleyball team put up some impressive stats in Ranger, Texas on Saturday as they defeated Ranger College 25-9, 25-20, 20-25, 25-9 before sweeping Western Texas College 25-13, 25-13, 25-15 to extend its winning streak to 11 matches in a row. read more

Taking part in its second meet of the season, the Cowley College men’s cross country team placed sixth out of 24 teams at the Missouri Southern Stampede held Saturday in Joplin, MO. read more

Tiger tennis teams dominate play at Collin College Invite

The Cowley College men and women's tennis teams were almost perfect in its matches at the Collin College Invite September 14-15 in Plano, TX as the men won 23 of 25 matches and the Lady Tigers combined to go 22-3. read more

Tiger soccer wins huge road game at Johnson County

The Cowley College men's soccer team continued to demonstrate the depth of its team as they got goals from three different players in a 3-1 win at Johnson County Saturday in Overland Park, KS. The victory improves the Tigers' record to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division. read more

Lady Tiger soccer falls at Johnson County 2-0

After playing back-to-back double overtime contests, the Cowley College women's soccer team at least only had to play 90 minutes on Saturday. However, the outcome was not what they were hoping for as they suffered a 2-0 loss at Johnson County. read more

Board hears of upcoming Professional Development Day; interactive series

During Cowley College's monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees held Monday in the Earle N. Wright Community Room, Cowley College president Dr. Dennis C. Rittle informed the Board of Trustees that Cowley College will conduct its annual Professional Development Day on Monday, September 24. Dr. Rittle also mentioned the four-part interactive series “Best Practices in Leadership” that he will present beginning Tuesday. read more

Online voting for Queen Alalah Finalists begins Monday, September 17th

Each year as part of the annual Arkalalah festival, five (5) sophomore women from Cowley College are chosen as candidates for the title of Queen Alalah.

The student body, faculty, staff and administration at Cowley College will select the five (5) finalists for Queen Alalah by online election Monday, September 17th thru Thursday, September 20th.

Student-athletes seeking foster families

Adjusting to college life can be a challenge for any student. Add on the stress of competing for a nationally ranked athletic team and moving to a new community far away from family and friends, and you have a student who needs a foster family. The Cowley College Foster Parent Program is designed to meet these needs and has a Foster Parent meet and greet event planned later this fall. read more
