Cowley College volleyball camps and clinics approaching

The nationally ranked Cowley College volleyball team will host several camps and clinics over late spring and summer in 2020. These include a Setter/Hitter camp on June 13, June 20, and July 18 (this is the same camp on three dates to accommodate those who missed the original April 25 camp), a High School camp July 29 and 30, an Elite High School camp July 31, and satellite camps for the months of June, and July. The 2020 camps will be directed by the Cowley College coaching staff. read more

Juden honored for his service to Cowley College

Prior to becoming a distinguished member and two-time Chairman of the Cowley College Board of Trustees, Bob Juden first came to Cowley College as a student and later began employment at the school. After recently finishing up serving more than seven years on the Board, Juden was honored with a plaque for his dedication and exemplary work while on the Board of Trustees. read more

Arnett takes part in first meeting as Board Chair

Dr. Harold W. Arnett presided over his first meeting as Board Chair during the monthly Cowley College Board of Trustees meeting held Monday in the Earle N. Wright Community Room. The meeting was held in the spacious Wright Room in order to safely increase community access with an approximate gathering limitation of 40 people while maintaining adequate social distancing. The meeting was also live streamed to comply with social distancing guidelines. read more

Student from Hawaii excelling in Cowley’s online NDT program

Looking to add to his resume, Derek Barbadillo stumbled upon Cowley College’s online Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) program. The Hawaii resident made the decision to enroll in the program and was recently on the College’s main campus in Arkansas City to complete his studies. read more

The Cowley Concert Choir members had been working toward their spring concert when COVID-19 put a halt on their performance. Wanting to find a way to feature the hard work they had done up to this point, vocal music director Lindsay Allen decided to have the Concert Choir perform a virtual choir concert. read more

Partnership between Cowley College and Newman University in full swing

The partnership between Cowley College and Newman University for the Accelerated Elementary Education Bachelor of Science has been a seamless process since the schools signed the initial partnership agreement in August with the intention of Cowley College becoming an instructional site for Newman University’s Education coursework. read more
