Online voting for the five finalists for Queen Alalah LXXXVI begins Monday morning! All Cowley College students and employees are encouraged to vote.

All eligible voters should receive an email on Monday morning entitled

“Invitation to VOTE: Queen Alalah Candidates 2017!”

. If you do not find this email in your inbox, please check your junk mail folder. Simply follow the instructions in your email to be automatically logged in to vote. Each voter is eligible to vote only once in this election. If you have any issues accessing the ballot, please contact Shannon O’Toole for assistance.


Voting will remain open through Thursday, September 21 at 11pm. The top five vote-getters will be selected as finalists for Queen Alalah reigning over the Arkalalah festival.

Cowley College organizations donate items to victims of Hurricane Harvey

Students in Cowley College’s Student Affairs, Student Senate, and Academic Civic Engagement through Service (ACES) organizations recently gathered items for victims of Hurricane Harvey. The items were dropped off at Factory Connection in Arkansas City where they were picked up to be delivered to those affected by the deadly storm.

Board of Trustees meeting to be held Monday, Sept. 18

The regular monthly meeting of the Cowley College Board of Trustees will be conducted on Monday, September 18, in the President’s Private Dining room of the McAtee Dining Center, located at 206 South 4th Street, Arkansas City, KS. The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. All Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public and Cowley employees. Click here to view agenda.
